How-To: Make Your Own Wedding Emblem
Using the above instructions, I’m going to attempt to exploit my meager graphic design skills to create our very own wedding emblem. Below is the “first draft” of our emblem. It will appear in its final form on Save the Date cards and invitations like the second image below.

We understand that things like graduations, old age, and travel costs happen. No one is under any obligation to attend beyond our immediate families, who are stuck with us. 🙂
Details: We’re currently mulling over a variety of options for ceremony/reception locations, as well as food options. There are a few things we do know at this early date, however! We are hoping to have the ceremony and reception in the same location or at least withing walking distance as most all of our family are unfamiliar with Lansing. Speaking of which, we’ve opted to have our nuptials in Lansing, MI as we met there and both attend school in the area, in addition to Heidi’s working full time at the Downtown Lansing Library as of late.
We also plan to have hometown receptions in both the Fargo, ND and Mena, AR areas in the year following the wedding to accommodate relatives who are unable to travel to Michigan for the wedding.
